Day:32 (Tuesday)
Right now as I am writing this blog it is Wednesday and I am in Oregon, I realized i had forgotten to write my very last blog and that i should do it now:(.
Here it goes.
Tuesday I woke up both happy and sad at the same time. I woke up happy to see my mom and sad to leave my aunt, the person I bonded with for 3 weeks! It was a disappointing day but I wanted to spend it the best I could because for all I knew it could be the last time I saw these very special people in a long time! After I woke up, I went into the living room with my aunt for a little while. After that I went to go with my grandparents to pick up my uncle that just flew in from Mexico and was with my brother for 6 weeks! We had waited for a while and even guessed a few people to be him!! Once the actual him came out from the doors he got into the car and went back to my grandparents house. Once we all got back to my grandparents house we just got to sit, talk, and relax. Later at about 4:00 or so we were doing a goodbye dinner for me and a hello dinner for my uncle. Before we went to go eat we went we picked up my cousin at his uncles house that he was staying at. Now, I hadn't been to his uncles house before but I had heard many good things about it. His uncle owns a business called "rockscape" and makes some pretty good money doing it, but I'm not gonna go into too much detail about that. When we entered his house you first see the living room and a sliding glass door with a pool and hot tub that was overflowing with water behind it!! Of course, we were there to pick up my cousin and not get a full house tour, so I didn't get to see the whole house, but what I did see was pretty amazing!! After we had gotten done picking up my cousin, we headed to the pizza parlor, where we were going to eat at! Once we got there we sat down and my uncle Jason was there and so was my cousin, Skyler, my grandparents and my AMAZING aunt, Jody and her husband, my uncle. Everyone else got salads but me and my cousin got pizza, but before anyone got any food they gave us bread that got me pretty full before I even had my pizza!!! I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to eat my pizza. About 10-20 minutes later everyone else got there food but me and Skyler were still waiting for our pizza. Once we did get our pizza, I could barely eat anything, so I only had like 2 pieces and I took the rest in a box. While we were there me and my cousin, Skyler were talking and suddenly we realized that we were bumping our elbows together and we didn't know why but then we decided to make it our handshake!! A little bit later we had to leave to get me on time for my flight and I was feeling really nervous to first of all, flying alone and second of all, leaving my aunt!! But before we went we headed to my grandparents because when I was there my aunt came over and ave me a magazine and 2 cookies and I am so thankful for her and for what she gave me! After that we headed off tot he airport with my aunt, her husband, and my cousin, Skyler. Once we got there my aunt wanted to show me what to do if I'm there alone, so we first checked the diparture/landing board and we saw that my flight was delayed to 8:50 so then we went to check-in and everything and then we sat down at my gate. A little bit later we found out it was delayed again!! So after we fund that out me and Skyler went to charge our phones and talk a little bit but I also wanted to spend more time with my aunt so we spent 15 minutes or so at the charging station and the rest of the time with my aunt!!! Later we found out...yes, it was delayed AGAIN!!! So then we waited and waited and talked and talked and then we heard over the inercom that it was pre-boarding and then, as I forgot to tell you, as we were checking in, since I was an unaccompanied minor, I got a ticket holder thing that I had to wear the whole time. So with the ticket holder I had to give the tickets to the man and he did some writing or something but then I gave my cousin a hug and my aunt and uncle and tried to hold in all my tears and so I couldn't hug her too tight or else I would just start balling!! Then a a man led me and this other kid onto the plane and I was still really scared and nervous but once I got on the plane I calmed down only a small amount. Then the other little boy, he sat behind me and we were only aloud in the first 3 rows of seats and i got a window seat with only one person other than me sitting in one out of the 3 seats and he was on the aisle seat. During the beginning of the flight they brought us drinks and peanuts, pretzels if you wanted. After that I thought it would pass the time if I slept and I tried to go to sleep but no matter how hard I tried, it just didn't work!! So then I decided to play some games on my tablet, so then I did that for a while and then just tried to relax and I did that a little bit. Finally when my plane landed, the man was going to walk us off the plane to meet our parents! So after we had gotten off he said that the parents can't get through security this late so we were going to have to go with a sweeper and then we had to go back to security to see my mom and brother and for the little boy, who ever was picking him up. So then suddenly I saw my brother...and then my mom, but for some reason, I didn't feel like I was ever away from them! Anyways after that my brothers friend came over and slept over and now it is nighttime and i have spent almost all day on my blog!!
Doing this blog and going on this trip made me feel very grateful for everything I have and I have definitely been able to bond with my aunt! I may start another blog just about my everyday life and just type the highlights of it and hopefully you will read it!! Thank you for reading when I post and I know most of you reading, are family, so I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Utah Summer Trip 2014 Day:31
This morning I woke up and me and my aunt had to start setting up board games for the achievement/activity days for the girls from the church. The girls were supposed to come at around 4:00 so we had enough time to get a lot of stuff ready!! Me and my aunt, as we were getting the games ready, we got to play some games ourselves. We had a lot of games, so I can't remember all of them but some that I can remember are Athello, Blokus, and BIG checkers!! Once everyone got there we first said an opening prayer and then my aunt showed them 2 magic tricks that I already new but it was fun to see the other girls faces when they found out how it was all done. Later, my grandparents showed up and they helped out and my grandpa showed us some tricks with string that I will not give away the answers to on my blog!! Later on we ate, and had pigs in a blanket and watermelon, and for dessert, we had chocolate cake that my aunt had made for our picnic yesterday!! Everything was delicious and really good!! Oh and I forgot to mention that before everyone came, when my aunt was cleaning, I went down and played with the twins and I also watched "The Emperors New Groove" The movie was really good and I had seen bits and pieces of it in the past but never the whole thing all in one!! Later when all of the girls went home we cleaned up a bit and then my grandparents were on there way home so I decided I would go to there house, do my blog and watch Monster in the closet with my cousin and them, so I left. After I had left, we went to there house and then since I never got to play checkers with my grandpa yesterday I would do it then! After our first game, he won but I wanted a rematch! In the middle of our 2nd game, or towards the end I had only two pieces but my grandpa had 1 piece!! After a half hour or so, I WON!!! My grandpa barely ever gets beat but his 11 year old granddaughter beat him!!! After that game my cousin said he couldn't come but my un-patient grandpa put the movie in and now we are watching it and then I will go home and tomorrow will be my last blog:(

Utah Summer Trip 2014 Day:30
Today we woke up and we had planned for us, a picnic with our family, so we woke up and started baking for it!! After a few hours we headed out and by that time it was about 4:30pm. After we got there we set up and just waited for people to arrive and then we said a prayer and started eating!! After I got done eating I went to go hang out with Keaton and the twins living in my aunts basement!! It was really fun and my other 2nd cousin by marriage, Tyler was getting called out by the 4 year old twins, with them saying he was a monster dragon, but as they are 4 year old little girls, we didn't know how they came up with such a thing so we happily just played along!
Later on me and Keaton hung out just the two of us an talked and then we played some more with the twins and it was all just really fun!!! Soon enough everybody left besides me and my aunt and grandparents and the family downstairs and my cousin, Nicole and her husband, Kip then we played checkers and had a really fun time!!! After my grandpa played a few times I asked if I could play him and he said you can play with Fernando, the twin's dad! But the it was his first time playing so my grandpa helped him and it was not at all fir for me!! And of course since my grandpa is pretty much the best, Fernando won!!!:( Anyways after that I went home with my grandparents to do my blog and my cousin Skyler came in yesterday on his dads plane with his family but they left this morning but Skyler stayed so I got to see him and then we skyped my brother and now I'm doing my blog and just finishing it up!! And now I'm going to go back to my aunts house and got to bed!!!

Utah Summer Trip 2014 Day:21-29
Day:21 (Friday)
Friday we woke up and we were pretty lazy the first few hours but then my aunt was cleaning and came upon a mannequin head, which sounds creepy but it wasn't that much. The mannequin head had a few black marks on it so my aunt gave it a little wash and after she did that I brushed the hair, put makeup on it, and made it look really good! The mannequin stuff took a couple hours so after that it was kind of late so we just read until we were tired.
Day:22 (Saturday)
Saturday we woke up and we decided to go on the mountain scooter ride up at Snowbird ski lodge! My uncle and aunt had done this thing before but for me, it was my first time. My uncle and my aunt had told me that they aren't just regular scooters they have huge wheels and that the scooter itself was big!! Once we started driving a little bit closer to Snowbird the roads were all so curvy and twisty and I was sitting in the middle and I was sliding all along the backseat laughing because it was like a twisty and curvy roller coaster!!! And during this fun drive we saw the Bingham Kennecott copper mine that was found by my great x3 grandfather!!! Once we got to Snowbird we found a parking spot and we were so excited to ride scooters, mountain scooters if you will. After we got out of the car we walked to the Snowbird center and plaza and there was music playing and we saw a few people with mountain bikes and other things. After arriving there we wen into where you get scooters and we found out that we would have to wait a couple hours and right as we were leaving they stopped us and said that we could come back in a half hour! So with that half hour we were too nervous to eat so we just looked around a bit and then when it was time to go get the scooters we went back in and had to sign a waver and do some other things but then when that was done we got some gloves and a helmet and we took our scooters outside and broke 'em in a bit and then we went to the tram which just rides you to the top of the mountain and that took about 10 minutes. We had gone about 11,000 ft. and that was pretty scary and kind off crowded on the tram that was built in Switzerland and can fit up to 110 skiers on it which was really surprising cause it was a small tram but once we hit the top it was on metal railing so it was really hot but then my aunt was telling me that the last time they went down the back where it was smooth but this time we had to walk down the really steep and rocky road that was very slippery although it was not moist. Once we had finally gotten down to the actual riding part we hopped on the scooter and we rode down and the hills were very steep and the guy had told us to try to dodge the big rocks which was not easy for me at least at all!! Later on we had gone down to where the horseback riding down which is also where the longest ski tunnel in the northern hemisphere where there is this small moving thing that the skiers ride on in the winter and normally you aren't supposed ride if there are other people in the tunnel but I did, just slowly and luckily there was someone in front of us so we didn't just fly by we had a moment to enjoy the situation and the tunnel was very cold but since it was so hot outside it felt so good!! Once we got out of the tunnel we started going down the rocky part which took like an hour just to go a little ways!!! Later on I accidently slid off and got a little cut on my ankle but it was only little. After we kept riding we saw beautiful flowers and snow was still there too!!! After a little bit I had lost my balance and put my foot down on an erosion prevention straw thing and as I put my foot down the straw fell into the grass as the grass caved in and I flipped off the cliff and slid on thistles and luckily I had gloves on to grasp on some rocks to not go ant further. My life flashed before my eyes. My aunt was riding right behind me so it was almost like she was with me but she didn't slide down but her perspective will be given
My aunts perspective: Today Dave and Amara had a wild adventure riding scooters down from the towering tops of Hidden Peak near the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. The tram to the top of the mountain was full of people with bikes and scooters and a few pedestrians. No one with a bike or scooter was as young as Amara. A few of the people who were going to hike from the tram platform to the ski lift ride to the bottom of the mountain pointed at Amara and asked if she was really going to "ride that scooter thing down the mountain?" We were all excited, nervous, and nearly ready to turn back until we saw Dave's back disappear over the horizon. Then we knew there was no turning back as Dave had the car keys! We carefully tried to avoid any giant rocks, cliffs, gravel, people, animals and trees and slowly made our way down the slopes. We scootered to the entrance of a long dark tunnel and fortunately some people were walking through the tunnel which forced us to keep our need for speed in check. We soon found ourselves dodging rocks, washboard roads and small streamlets as we made our way down from the edge of bald mountain to the tree line. We saw a waterfall and a green area where moose often graze. We had to go across a small stream. Dave whizzed through it and up onto the opposite side. Amara went to cross and stopped in the middle. She had to wade through the icy water. Seeing her experience I slowly walked my scooter across while I balance on rocks to keep my shoes from getting wet. Amara started to get the knack of things and began to fishtail the back wheel of her scooter. She looked pretty cool doing tricks on her scooter. We were doing fine until Amara began to loose her balance and tried to step off of her scooter. She stepped onto the side of the mountain and lost her balance. All I saw was her feet over her head as she disappeared over the edge of what appeared to be a huge cliff! I freaked out and dropped my scooter and ran to the edge of the "cliff." I had just finished reading a book about wilderness rescue techniques and made sure that I didn't make the situation worse! I carefully lowered myself down to Amara and held her tight as I checked her for broken bones or wounds. She was fine. Very brave! I was worried she would never get on a scooter again but like a true survivor woman she leapt back on the scooter and rode it down the rest of the way. I can't remember anything more due to the trauma of seeing my little niece flying like a stone down the mountainside. I do remember eating something at the bottom and then driving home but only barely. What an adventure! From now on I will back my niece in bubble wrap and keep her in the house. I have learned a valuable lesson.
That was my aunts perspective and now since this day was pretty long I am going to stop it right here and go to the next day!
Day:23 (Sunday)
Sunday I mostly worked on my blog and relaxed!
Day:24 (Monday)
Monday we were going to go to Lagoon with my aunts granddaughter, Keaton, but then we got a call saying that my aunts other granddaughters dog was missing and so then we went to help find it and although we were there for about 3-4 hours, two girls found the dog and when we saw it, we knew it was worth the wait! After the search it was kind of late to go to Lagoon so we went home and relaxed and then was going to try to go on Wednesday!
Day:25 (Tuesday)
Tuesday we didn't do anything because my aunt had to go to the doctors so I stayed home and relaxed!
Day:26 (Wednesday)
Wednesday we got everything ready to go to Lagoon an then it just out of nowhere it started raining but we picked up Keaton anyway and tried to figure out something else to do and then we finally decided to go to Flowrider, which is a place with fake waves and you can kind of practice surfing and it was really cool, but unfortunately our thing was only for an hour but it felt longer, which was good! After that we went to eat at Astro Burger and then we dropped Keaton off and went home.
Day:27 (Thursday)
Thursday we woke up and got ready to go to Lagoon AGAIN!!! and I guess 3rd times the charm because nothing went wrong and we got our tickets and some more food and we headed to Lagoon!!! We got there at about noon and it opened at 11:00am so we were pretty early but right as we got there we set the cooler down and rode some rides and then my aunt took a break as me and Keaton went to ride more rides and eventually we rode all of the rides and then my aunt rode some with us but unfortunately the rides were closing because it was getting close to 10:00pm and that's when they closed the rides so the last thing we got to go on was the sky ride which was like a ski lift but just so you didn't have to go walk across the whole park! Later we left and went home and got home at midnight!!
Day:28 (Friday)
Friday We went to my aunts granddaughters house and went on the tramp and learned some tricks and also did some crafts!! Before that we went to her house we got Chinese food that was DELICIOUS!!! Later we went home.
Day:29 (Saturday)
Saturday we woke up and I went to my grandparents house to do my blog and now I am going to pick up my uncle Cory and his family because he flew his plane here and I am picking him up at the airport!

Utah Summer Trip 2014 Day:17-20
Day:17 (Monday)
Monday me and my aunt woke up and we went to the neighbors pool for activity days and we were practicing life saving and we had a bunch of things to save lives with and once the other girls showed up we said an opening prayer and then Brayden one of the girls pretended to drown and we tried to save her with all of the things. After all of us getting a chance to pretend to drown Braydens dad came out and showed us a few things and then we learned a few things about swimming and more and then we just got to play and the learning/teaching was over. After we were there for about 4 hours we decided to leave! Once we started heading home I realized my face was really hurting and it wasn't just because I was really HOT ;)!!! After I had looked in my aunts rearview mirror and I was very shocked because I had a sunburn and I had only like one other sunburn in my life!! After we had done doing a few things we headed home because it was like 8:30 and we were tired from swimming so we went to bed!
Day:18 (Tuesday)
Tuesday we woke up and we started baking for Wednesday because in Utah the 24 is when the pioneers came and it's a really big deal out here!!! So my aunt got cookie ingredients out and I started to bake and I even made this perfectly round, soft, and creamy, and big cookie all for myself and words cannot explain how delicious it was!!! Once we were done baking we just had to get a lot done for Wednesday because that was the day where the fireworks were out for the 24th! The whole day was pretty much just spent shopping and kind of getting ready for Wednesday and cleaning the house for guests and it was not too fun but it kept us busy! After cleaning we went to bed!
Day:19 (Wednesday)
Wednesday we woke up and we started to fill up water balloons and trying to create fun activities for people before the fireworks set off!! I also saw a piano and I have never known how to play but something got into me and I looked at the song book and I started playing!! Once it was about 6:30 people started showing up for the paaaaaaaartaaaayyy!!!! Later we had a water balloon fight and that was fun and then later the fireworks started and they were BEAUTIFUL!!! After everyone left we went to bed!
Day:20 (Thursday)
Thursday we woke up and I started to progress in piano playing and both me and my aunt were both very shocked!!! After practicing and other things we headed over to my grandparents and now were going to grab lunch and my blog will be updated in a couple hours!!

Monday me and my aunt woke up and we went to the neighbors pool for activity days and we were practicing life saving and we had a bunch of things to save lives with and once the other girls showed up we said an opening prayer and then Brayden one of the girls pretended to drown and we tried to save her with all of the things. After all of us getting a chance to pretend to drown Braydens dad came out and showed us a few things and then we learned a few things about swimming and more and then we just got to play and the learning/teaching was over. After we were there for about 4 hours we decided to leave! Once we started heading home I realized my face was really hurting and it wasn't just because I was really HOT ;)!!! After I had looked in my aunts rearview mirror and I was very shocked because I had a sunburn and I had only like one other sunburn in my life!! After we had done doing a few things we headed home because it was like 8:30 and we were tired from swimming so we went to bed!
Day:18 (Tuesday)
Tuesday we woke up and we started baking for Wednesday because in Utah the 24 is when the pioneers came and it's a really big deal out here!!! So my aunt got cookie ingredients out and I started to bake and I even made this perfectly round, soft, and creamy, and big cookie all for myself and words cannot explain how delicious it was!!! Once we were done baking we just had to get a lot done for Wednesday because that was the day where the fireworks were out for the 24th! The whole day was pretty much just spent shopping and kind of getting ready for Wednesday and cleaning the house for guests and it was not too fun but it kept us busy! After cleaning we went to bed!
Day:19 (Wednesday)
Wednesday we woke up and we started to fill up water balloons and trying to create fun activities for people before the fireworks set off!! I also saw a piano and I have never known how to play but something got into me and I looked at the song book and I started playing!! Once it was about 6:30 people started showing up for the paaaaaaaartaaaayyy!!!! Later we had a water balloon fight and that was fun and then later the fireworks started and they were BEAUTIFUL!!! After everyone left we went to bed!

Utah Summer Trip 2014 Day:15-16
Day:15 (Saturday)
Saturday I woke up and we waited a little while but we were planning on getting shaved ice but we waited a little bit but when it was time to get up and out, we did. Once we got there we were surprised to see very young people working there so we guessed that it was a family owned business. There were many flavors to choose from, but I got tigers blood which was very red and my aunt Jody got cherry and my uncle Dave got pink lemonade. after it melted a little bit I decided to drink out of the straw and when I did it tasted like POOL WATER!!!! It was disgusting!! After we were done with our shaved ice we went home. A little while later we decided to go swimming at the rec center AGAIN!!! I had also dove again and showed the family living downstairs and my aunt and uncle! After swimming, on the way home we got pizza from a place that I can't name because I'm afraid of copywriting or whatever;0! After getting pizza we headed home, ate, and then I went into my aunts room and we watched a movie and went to bed.
Day:16 (Sunday)
Today I woke up and we had planned to go on a picnic with our family, or at least some of our family but before we went I found out that we were going to go to Lagoon with my aunt!! When we got to the park, where we were having our picnic, we set up the table cloths and food and we ate!! At the very end of the picnic we, or I(!!!), saw lighting and as I was screaming everyone else was ignoring me and as I have heard, if you count from one lightning strike to the next that's how many miles its away from you and I counted...4!!!!! 4 miles is not far away at all! So then we left a couple minutes later. When we got home we watched T.V. and then my uncle drove me to my grandparents and I did my blog, or at least the first part of it and then after a small while, my grandpa showed me how to make his famous cucumbers and that was pretty fun but then I had to get back to my blog and now I'm going to eat more cucumbers and go home!

Utah Summer Trip 2014 updated Day:14
This post is an update of today.
After I had got done blogging for the first half of the day I went out to see my grandpa and he was working on the lawn mower and I go "what are you doing" and he says "I'm working on the lawn mower!" so as he worked, I watched and as I watched, he fixed and when he got done he said "if this doesn't work when I pull the lever I am going to be real disappointed!" so we waited for the right moment...and as he pulled the lever it....BLEW UP, no actually...as we pulled the lever it....WORKED!!! And as we had noticed the loud grunging sound of the lawn mower he pulled his hand near his hip and said...YEAH!!! For him it put a smile on his face because the lawn mower worked, but for me it put a smile on my face because he was happy.
After fixing the lawn mower we went and grabbed some food at a place called Spankys and it was a lace that my great grandma loved to go to clear up 'till she was 90!! I got a BBQ Turkey sandwich that was a kids meal and my grandparents got kids meals, too just with different sandwiches and then after getting our kids meals to go we went to a parking lot and then somehow the conversation got turned into us going to a cemetery where I got to see where I got to see my great x3 grandpas grave and my grandpas sisters soon to be grave and her husbands grave and where my grandparents will be buried. After that I saw where my momma went to college! After that we went home and then my grandpa said "I wonder if you can still swim?" so then we decided to go swimming which we did at the rec center which was VERY fun and I got to spend quality time with my grandpa and I learned a lot! I learned how to elementary back stroke PERFECTLY as my grandpa says! I also did my very first actual dive off of a diving board!!! Which I did hesitate about the first few times I did it but then I manned up and dove!! It was pretty fun and didn't hurt at all as long as you do it right:)!! After we did some other things we were ready to go home and watch "what about Bob?" because I had never seen it and I guess you have to laugh and mean it for my grandpa to know your a true Platt!! Once we got home I got a sprite and started writing on my blog and now were about to watch "what about Bob?"

Utah Summer Trip 2014 Day:13-14
Day:13 (Thursday)
Thursday was a very fun day that I got to spend with my family.
We woke up and got ready to go horseback riding with my uncle Jon and his kids and also my grandparents! First we had to pick up my uncle and his kids and then it took about an hour to get to the place where we were going. Once we got there we talked about horses and what to do with certain things and stuff and my cousin who is only six is very interested in horses so she was very excited about all of this! My cousin was the first to ride the horse! This horse was big and beautiful! The horse's name was bow and it was brown and had a big D on its upper back near its tail to show that it was a Dutch horse! After my cousin was done riding, it was my aunts turn and she seemed to have a lot of fun! After my aunt was done, it was MY turn and it was a lot more fun then I expected it to be! After I got done riding the horse my cousin rode AGAIN!!! All together my cousin probably rode for about an hour!! After we were done riding and everything we headed up to Trial lake and it was a lot of fun because we got to play in the water a little bit and we had a nice campfire and we cooked hotdogs on sticks and put 'em in the fire and they were surprisingly really good!! We had a really fun time and we also got to play around a little and then after many hours of fun, everything that starts has to end, we put out the fire and that took a couple minutes and two and 1/2 jugs of water! When we were done putting out the fire we said our goodbyes and headed home! My grandparents had brought their motor home so they left in that and then me, my aunt, and my uncle and his kids left in my aunts car. It took us a while but we finally got to where my uncle and his kids were staying and we dropped them off and said goodbye and then it was just me and my aunt left and we wanted to keep each other company, so we did by telling each other jokes and that was both funny and entertaining for bot of us!! Once we got home it was midnight so we went to bed.
Day:14 (Friday)
Today has not ended fully and it is only 2:19pm. But why not say what has happened so far?
Today I woke up kind of late and turned on the T.V. and well I haven't done anything since besides right now, doing my blog which unfortunately is ending! In conclusion my grandpa is a blooming genius (he told me to say that).

Utah Summer Trip 2014 day:10-12
Day:10 (Monday)
Monday we woke up and we said that we were going to go to the mall but then we decided to go a place called iFly which is just basically a place that you put on a skydiving suit and go into like this wind tunnel and if you straighten your legs to go higher and bend your knees to go lower. After we had gotten there we decided that we were just going to watch and then we found this iRock place that you can rock climb and ride on these little fake waves to practice surfing and we decided to come back another day to do the iFly and wave thing! After we left we thought about things and decided to eat and then see a movie and we decided to go see Maleficent and it was the story of what had happened before "Sleeping beauty". At first we were the only people in the theater until a little later. When the movie was over we left and it was 102degrees and we were BURNING!! After we had made it through the heat and to the car we got in and drove home and we were exhausted so we just rested and then when it was time to go to bed, we did.
Day:11 (Tuesday)
Tuesday we woke up and went grocery shopping and we were GOING to go swimming but it was too hot so then I remembered that I had wanted to give a makeover to my aunt and I ended up doing everyone in the house!!! After the makeovers the missionaries came over and talked to my aunt while I went downstairs to go play with the twins for a couple hours and when I came back upstairs I saw that my uncle and aunt were just sitting down and watching T.V. and suddenly my uncle said "lets go get ice cream" so then me and him went and got ice cream and sugar cones and when we got back we ate and then went to bed.
Day:12 (Wednesday)
Wednesday we woke up and we started cleaning and then I took a long, luxurious shower and when I got out we got in the car and went to this Polynesian and got this weird thing that they had made themselves and because my aunt is crazy she bought it and we ate it and couldn't tell if we liked it or not but eventually we were done! after eating we went to get food and I got this double patty bacon burger that was good but not as good as it normally would be because I had, had SOOO much bacon the past few weeks I'm surprised I didn't get sick! After eating we went to my grandparents house and now I'm doing my blog and I will see where the day takes me now!

Utah Summer Trip 2014 Day:8-9
Day:8 (Saturday)
Saturday was a pretty relaxing, but fun day!!
Saturday my aunt and I woke up and we tried to figure out what to do, and once we decided what to do we decided to go swimming for a couple hours and then go to a barbeque with some of my aunt and uncles friends that they haven't seen in a while. We had decided to go swimming at noon and then the first half of the day would be just relaxing and then have the other half be fun and exciting! When it was about 11:00 or so we found out that we were going on a picnic with my grandparents and my little cousins and my other aunt and uncle (my uncle Jon and aunt Abbie). So then once it was 12:00 my grandparents picked me up because my aunt Jody and uncle Dave were just going to meet us there a little later so we just went and we were going to get Chinese food and then take it to go and go to the park and have a nice little picnic and let the little kids go play at the park! We stayed at the park for about four hours forgetting about the barbeque and just hanging out(:P). Once we left it was about 4:40 or something and while I was driving with my grandparents, my aunt called and said, and I quote, "oh I forgot about the a barbeque we had" and so we just had to go to my aunts house and I had to leave and go to the barbeque! Once we got to the BBQ I was surprised to walk into their back yard and find an umbrella shaped waterfall type thing spilling out water and a fire hydrant doing the same. Their were three girls (Briley, Kaitlyn, Olivia) playing in the water and having fun and after about an hour they stopped and I decided to go do gymnastics, after they invited me, with them. Gymnastics was very fun for us and I really got to know Briley and Kaitlyn and Olivia was only six so she decided to stay behind but we were having a really fun time and when we were done we started to come up with a cheer but then we had to eat and once we were done we got back to the cheer which took a while but when we preformed it I thought we were pretty good (not to brag :)! anyways it was pretty late when we left so we just went home, ate and went to bed.
Day:9 (Sunday/today)
Today was kind of boring.
my uncle Dave woke up early (like always) and went to church and when I woke up my aunt Jody went to a late service and everybody just came in and out and as I tried to catch up I gave up and I just waited for people to get back and once they did it was time for lunch. We had delicious taco things that the family living downstairs made and it was very good then we all just got back to our day when we were done and as I am writing this its too early for dinner, but I'll probably just have left over Chinese but for now I'm good!

Utah Summer Trip 2014 day:4-7
Day:4 (Tuesday)
Tuesday me and my grandparents went to a ski resort called "Solitude"!
It was kind of like a family reunion and there were many of our family members coming but we were the first there. The only people who were staying over on that night was me and my grandparents and my 2 1/2 year old boy cousin, my 6 year old girl cousin, and my uncle and aunt! We were there about an hour before my uncle and aunt. As soon as they arrived we hung out for a little while and then we went swimming in this really nice pool with a hot tub on either sides of the pool and this pool had a REALLY nice water slide that wasn't too big and it wasn't too fast but it was still a blast! On the 2 ft. end of the pool there were these sprinkler-like water things shooting out of the side that was fun to go under with the little kids and just by yourself:)
After a nice long relaxing swim we went back to our room which was very nice and had 3 bedrooms, one with 2 bunk beds, a dresser, and a T.V. One with 1 bed and a T.V. And One with 1 bed, a T.V. And a bathroom. The room also had a pretty big kitchen and a few bathrooms! Anyways after the swim we went back to our room and it was pretty late so we all just kind of went to bed.
Day:5 (Wednesday)
Wednesday we all woke up and my uncle Chris and his family were coming around 9:30am and we woke up around 8:00am. Once they got there we all caught up on some things and just hung out! Even though it was early in the morning we all still wanted to go swimming so we did! Later that day we all came back to the room and we talked and ate and did many things like card games and we played a very loud and obnoxious but fun game called Pit and that was very fun and there was the last round that petty much just placed the other rounds of it in the category of practice rounds! The last round would put the winner in the placing of the family reunion winner and guess who won(???)...I DID!!! I won the game and was very proud of it!! Later that night we played hand and foot which I had never played before but it sure took a while and it was pretty late at night so I was just exhausted from the whole day and just wanted to go o bed but the game was pretty fun although I not sure I still know how to play it! after the late night game most of us went to bed.
Day:6 (Thursday)
Thursday I woke up and went into the living room and breakfast was all ready but I decided to get the taste of toothpaste out of my mouth before I mixed it with chocolate milk. After the taste got out I decided to eat and when I was done eating I was feeding...my little 2 1/2 baby cousin cereal and it was very cute! Thursday was our last day in Solitude and we had to check out at 10:00 so we eventually had to leave after saying our goodbyes although since I'm here for the next 2 weeks I'll probably see almost all of them again! When it was time to go we headed out the door and said goodbye. Once we got to my aunts house my grandparents dropped me off and I left. The rest of the day we just kind of relaxed and hung out and my aunt and I went to target and got afew things and then we just went to bed later that night.
Day:7 (Friday)
Friday I woke up and basically the whole day was kind of just a laid back and relaxing day and that was basically it!

Wednesday we all woke up and my uncle Chris and his family were coming around 9:30am and we woke up around 8:00am. Once they got there we all caught up on some things and just hung out! Even though it was early in the morning we all still wanted to go swimming so we did! Later that day we all came back to the room and we talked and ate and did many things like card games and we played a very loud and obnoxious but fun game called Pit and that was very fun and there was the last round that petty much just placed the other rounds of it in the category of practice rounds! The last round would put the winner in the placing of the family reunion winner and guess who won(???)...I DID!!! I won the game and was very proud of it!! Later that night we played hand and foot which I had never played before but it sure took a while and it was pretty late at night so I was just exhausted from the whole day and just wanted to go o bed but the game was pretty fun although I not sure I still know how to play it! after the late night game most of us went to bed.
Day:6 (Thursday)
Thursday I woke up and went into the living room and breakfast was all ready but I decided to get the taste of toothpaste out of my mouth before I mixed it with chocolate milk. After the taste got out I decided to eat and when I was done eating I was feeding...my little 2 1/2 baby cousin cereal and it was very cute! Thursday was our last day in Solitude and we had to check out at 10:00 so we eventually had to leave after saying our goodbyes although since I'm here for the next 2 weeks I'll probably see almost all of them again! When it was time to go we headed out the door and said goodbye. Once we got to my aunts house my grandparents dropped me off and I left. The rest of the day we just kind of relaxed and hung out and my aunt and I went to target and got afew things and then we just went to bed later that night.
Day:7 (Friday)
Friday I woke up and basically the whole day was kind of just a laid back and relaxing day and that was basically it!

Utah Summer Trip 2014
Today was AWESOME!!!
This morning we all woke up and ate breakfast and then we went to the Library to return some of my Aunts books and you would not BELIEVE how many books she has! I mean to be honest, if she had enough room she could build her OWN Library!! Anyways after the Library we went to Costco to go get snacks and a discount pass thing for Seven Peaks(water park). My Aunt even decided to get her own copy of tfios (the fault in our stars) to read while me and Lee and Monsa (my Aunts friends daughter that is 17 were swimming. After looking around for the passes a little bit they weren't the ones we wanted so then after Costco we went to pick up Lee, since it was just my Aunt Jody and I, and after that we just went home to go online and print out passes for Seven Peaks. After a couple of hours I didn't know what was taking so long so I went in to my Aunts room and she said that it wasn't working so she just kept trying and I left and thought it wouldn't take much longer because she had already taken a while but then it took a few more hours but then finally we had reached the point where there had to be a call involved from my Aunt. After some time it was time to go. After that we picked up Monsa and headed to Seven Peaks! Once we got there we had two pieces of paper for the discount and we handed it to the lady at the front and unfortunately for those printed coupons we had to got to the "green building" that was pretty far to me considering we had been walking around in the sun for a little while. So once we made it to the "green building" it took us about a half an hour to get that situated and then, FINALLY, we had gotten everything sorted out we could go SWIM!!! I can't name every slide I went up on but what I can say is that there were A LOT of stairs that really wore me out but there was a rope to swing on and 9ft deep water and there was this on turquoise slide that was just like a yellow one there and it was SO STEEP!!! I couldn't believe it and as we were in line there was a very talkative and energetic 9 year old boy that I wanted to duck tape his mouth shut! and by the time we were at the slide I immediately wanted to run off but I faced my fear and went down it and it just goes straight at first and then DROPS!!!!! I so frightened and so was my Aunt! after that we did a lot more but its so long I could write a novel about it!! Anyways, after that we just dropped Monsa and Lee off and got ice cream and now I'm writing my blog for the day. Talk to you guys Tomorrow!

I wasn't able to go on all of them because a few of them could only have single tubes, and we had 2 double tubes, but others can have both.

Utah summer trip 2014 day: 1-3
I am Amara and this is my blog.
While I am in Utah for the next three weeks I am staying with my aunt, Jody. Although I am staying with her I drove up here with my Grandparents and my cousin in their Motor Home. The drive was SO long but once we arrived I knew it was worth it! Right as we arrived in Utah it was early in the morning so we decided to get some breakfast at a restaurant called "Dees". We invited almost the whole family! I got to see SO many of my family members that I haven't seen in YEARS!!! My aunt Jody was there too! Once all of us were done eating I went with my Aunt to go to my Grandparents house to go clean!! I couldn't believe that my first day in Utah was being spent cleaning!! We were there for a couple of hours and cleaned ALOT!! Since we had been cleaning so much, when we were done me and my Aunt and my Uncle (her husband, obviously) went home to rest. My Aunt went into her room to take a nap and I went into the living room and watched some T.V. and read what is now my favorite book EVER, The Fault In Our Stars!!! That day was the fourth of July so we went to Fireworks at the park with a new friend that I met and her name is Lee! We also went with another family that is living in my Aunt's basement! I know that, that sounds VERY weird but my Aunts basement is pretty much just another house! Anyways, as soon as we got to the park for the Fireworks, we sat right by my Uncle Chris and my Aunt Michelle. since we were there pretty early there were only a small amount of Fireworks and some music. Once it got to be a little later we sang the national anthem and then there were ALOT of Fireworks and they were so beautiful but they were also really loud! there were a few songs playing in the back round and one I thought was pretty clever for the 4th of July was ''Firework'' by Katy Perry and that was fun to listen to! By the time it was over it was about 11:30 or so and we all waited a few minutes for the traffic to calm down and then right as we were walking out there was this HUGE gust of wind and all of the caution strips were blowing off and all of the dirt and leaves were blowing at us and I could barely see! Once we FINALLY made it to the car we drove home and once we got there all of us just basically passed out! Since I came out to Utah earlier than I was supposed to my Aunt hadn't gotten my room ready yet so I had to sleep on the couch but, staying positive, I knew it was better than the floor.
Since I only started blogging today but I have been here for three days I am going to do all three days I've been in Utah!
day:2 (Saturday)
Saturday we all woke up and I started to read my book in their nice massaging chair while listening to music to get me focused on my book, I know most people don't listen to music while reading but it helps me because I can tune out everyone else and just read. Later that day we drove up the Mountains and it took us like in hour just driving! I got very frightened because there is no railing so if your car is pushed to the side, that's it. Your done. and once we reached I think 80,000 ft. we stopped and parked right by a lake that we wanted to walk around. The lake wasn't anything special so we went up a little farther and saw another lake, that lake was boring and small so we kept walking and tried to find out how some other people got up there, succeeded to get up there! After a few minutes we managed to find our way and saw some other people SWIMMING in this disgusting dirty lake!! One of the few people that were up there showed us a salamander and it was very interesting to look at but DISGUSTING to hold! It was slimy and gross and I was freaking out and almost threw it! there were more in the lake but 1 was just too many for me!!! After being both disgusted and disturbed we headed back down and there were SO many moths that I eventually just started running! Finally when we had reached the car we got in and drove back down. When we arrived at home we decided to do some arts and crafts with the family that lived in my Aunts Basement and we made some flowers out of tissue paper!!! The flowers actually looked VERY cool and I would definitely use them for decoration and things like that. After that my Uncle Dave brought in some pizza and we ate. Once we were done eating we all went to bed.
day:3 (Sunday)
Today we woke up and we were to late to go to church so we waited until 10:30 and we went to Temple Square which just has some interesting things about the after-life and there were these very nice missionaries that gave us a tour and it was all so beautiful and that took about an hour and 1/2 or so and then we came over to my grandparents house and I ate lunch and then my aunt left and I set up my blog and started typing and I guess now I'll just see where the day takes me and Utah time it is 3:41pm so I don't have much time in the day left but I will be blogging everyday!!
